Samyak C2 Infra Pvt. Ltd. was founded in 1992 – not as a firm, but as a belief. A belief that architecture, done with intention and care, has the power to change how people experience their daily lives. Over three decades later, that belief is still what gets us to the drawing table every morning.
We are a multidisciplinary practice working across architecture, interior design, and urban planning. Our projects range from private residences to large-scale civic institutions, from affordable housing to government buildings, from campuses to hospitals. Directors
Ganeshkumar Wable
Ganesh graduated from MMCA Pune in 1992 and went to Mumbai, where he worked alongside the legendary Charles Correa – one of the giants of modern Indian architecture. That experience shaped his understanding of what buildings can be when they respond honestly to their climate and culture. He later trained with Ar. P.G. Patki before returning to Pune in 1994 to co-found Samyak with two of his classmates.
Today, as Director, Ganesh leads institutional and residential projects across India. He is deeply committed to the profession beyond the office – currently serving as Chairman of the IIID Pune Chapter, and actively involved in the IIA and AESA. Outside architecture, he has cycled the length of India — which, if you know Ganesh, tells you everything you need to know about his stamina and his curiosity.
Sandeep Bamb
Sandeep graduated alongside Ganesh from MMCA in 1992 and worked with Ar. Rajeev Vishwasrao before joining as a co-founder of Samyak in 1994. He describes the years since as a long and enriching journey of learning, unlearning, and debate – the kind of slow refinement that produces architects worth working with.
As Director, Sandeep brings a particular sensitivity to the cultural and contextual dimensions of design. He served as Chairman of IIID Pune Chapter in 2008–10, and his travels – through treks, cycling expeditions, and mountaineering – have given him a genuine respect for cultural diversity that finds its way, quietly but unmistakably, into the spaces he designs.
Late Subhash Takale
Subhash was one of the original three – a classmate, a co-founder, and an architect of rare depth and feeling. He graduated from MMCA in 1992 and had the extraordinary fortune of working at Sangath, the studio of Master Ar. B.V. Doshi – one of the finest architectural minds India has ever produced. That experience, combined with years at Vozac Architects working on complex industrial and healthcare projects, gave Subhash an unusual ability to hold structural rigour and poetic intent in the same hand.
He completed his Masters in Architecture in 2010, driven by a conviction that good architects never stop learning. He believed, deeply and simply, that “whatever we build, ends up building us.”
Subhash shared with his partners a love of cycling and the outdoors – he had rode across India, and later took to mountaineering. It was in the Himalayas, at Peak Noon in 2017, that he found his final rest. His presence is still felt in every project the firm undertakes.
Ramakant Bhutada
Ramakant graduated from MMCA in 1994 and spent three formative years at Vozac Architects under Ar. S.A. Bakshi, where he developed a deep respect for design discipline and the structural and services systems that make buildings function. Large-scale factory projects gave him a breadth of thinking that would later define his specialisation: mass housing – where every design decision must be thought through from the point of view of execution, not just vision.
Associated with Samyak since the firm’s early days, Ramakant formally joined as Director in 2008. He completed a Master’s in Construction Management the same year – a degree that reflects the way he thinks: always with an eye on how ideas will actually be built. An avid cyclist and reader, he describes himself as a student forever. Anyone who has worked with him will tell you that’s not false modesty.
